Hello beauties! Today is a day to remember the good things that happened to me while blogging and also to show you the newest release from Dead Dollz at The Fantasy Collective and the new release from Glam Affair at Summerfest.

So FB let’s you remember stuff you did over the years and I checked mine today and I did last year a post celebrating that I was chosen to be a Glam Affair blogger that day. So it’s been a whole year been their blogger, you probably know that is my favorite store and I’m so grateful I’m still part of it. And coincidentally I showed on that post the skin Glam Affair released for Summerfest and today I’m doing the same thing, It’s been a whole year also to improve my skills on taking pictures and meeting wonderful new people, so I don’t regret anything that has come to me during this year while blogging, I love the stores that support this blog and I’m so grateful that I can blog for them.

My shirt is from Blueberry, it comes with a hud to change the color of the upper part of it, so you can have a bi color shirt or you can leave it in one color, whatever works better for you. As always this shirt is available for Belleza and for Maitreya mesh bodies. My hair is from Little Bones and it has a color changeable hair clip that you can change by using the hair color hud. Am I gonna be your girl?

Hello beauties! While editing this picture I was listen to a radio on Itunes Radio that I liked a lot, I’ve always love music and my favorite genres are Rock and Indie. So besides the pretty things I found at Collabor88 this round, I had a lot of fun doing this pic, cos it involves music. The title of the pic is because valentines day is on saturday and I was listening to “Are you gonna be my girl” by Jet, it’s a pretty fun song, besides this round of Collabor88 is about prom, so all the designers did something in collaboration with another designer or brought another designer to their booths.

I have very good news for you, I told you in one of my posts that the applier for Lara of the Polar tone from Glam Affair was gonna be out soon, and today Aida kindly released it, so now you can go to Glam Affair store and get this applier, I know most of you have been wanting to get it. The nice thing about this applier is that it comes in two versions: one with freckles and one without them. So grab the TP I’m putting here and go to Glam Affair to get this applier so your Maitreya body can look better that it looks already.

I told you that it was prom time at Collabor88 and MishMish did a great collaboration with Dust Bunny for this round (Bunny power I might say), they got together this pretty bears in a suitcase, there are two versions: one is with the bears sitting on a park bench and the other both bears are laid down on a blanket after they attend a romantic picnic. Each of the suitcases come in three versions: Girl/Boy, Boy/Boy and Girl/Girl, thumbs up for that.

The records on the floor are part of the stuff that Exposeur has available at Fameshed, they are a prop which comes with 9 poses so you can sit comfortably on them and listen to some tunes, they also come with a wearable record. The turntable is sold separately and is available in 6 different colors.

Uber’s round for this month is called celestial and 2 of the 8 makeups available from Ellie have colorful and galactic eye makeups that I’m sure you’ll love them.

Just Dance! – Maitreya mesh body (Lara) Review

Hello beauties! As you’ve seen everybody became crazy when Onyx LeShelle from Maitreya released her mesh body and the whole buying experience was super fun, I waited for about three hours at Maitreya’s store to get it, I met new people and met some friends there, seeing Onyx get in and out of the sim, seeing her getting the vendors ready and finally setting the vendors at the store was super fun and exciting. When I finally got it and try it on I’ll just have to say that it was love at first wear and I’ll show you with some explainable pictures why I liked it so much, but I will also tell you what I think about some of the others mesh bodies on sale.

First, what you get when you buy the body: the mesh body (comes without hands and feet attached), hands, feet, a hud to customise your body, 4 shapes, one feet shape for Maitreya’s tip toe feet, one set of lingerie from Maitreya, a hud to change the color of the lingerie and the ribbons that comes with it and an appliers hud for a set of lingerie from Zaara.

Huds: 

With this hud you can customise your mesh body, hide/show alphas, apply clothing and tattoo layers, change skins, feet shape, nail color and length, change the size of the neck and turn on or off the neck fix. The skin presets are for Glam Affair skins, so you GA lovers don’t have to wait for an applier to be released or even buy one.

These are the huds to apply the lingerie set from Zaara and to change the color and hide/show the bra and the panties for the lingerie set from Maitreya.

Shape: 

Here you can see a front, rear and side view of the body with my own shape. I didn’t edit anything for this pictures and it pretty much looked the same as the system shape. I really liked the shape of the butt and the breasts, for me they seem more realistic as well as the feet and hands. Right now there is only one gesture for the hands but I got to know that Onyx Leshelle will eventually do more gestures for them. Anyways I know this won’t be a problem as this mesh body is full compatible with XS Slink hands and feet so you can wear whatever shape you have on the Slink hands and the best part is that they fit so well that you won’t notice them.

With this picture I wanted to show you two things. One, can you tell my body is curvier? Well for those that worry about not been that curvy you actually can if you play with your measure sliders, I uped the fat, body thickness, leg muscles, hip width, butt size and saddle bags to get this shape, so if you play with them you can get the body you want. The second thing I wanted to show you with this picture is that I’m actually wearing a dress with appliers from Alterego, how? well Omega just released the omega system kit for Maitreya mesh body, so everything with omega appliers will work with it, you’ll just have to get the omega system which costs 3L for group members (free to join) and 99L for non members, wear the system relay hud and the applier hud of your clothing choice and apply it, finally you’ll just have to turn on the clothing layer buttons on the Maitreya hud and you’re all set.

Summary: 

• Is fitted mesh so you can play as much as you want with your appearance menu to get the body shape that you like the best.
• It comes with 10 preset skin tones from Glam Affair so for all you GA lovers you won’t have to get appliers for it. Stores like The Skinnery already offer skin appliers, some other stores like Birdy, Deetalez, Pink Fuel, League, and Atomic will also offer skin appliers soon.
• Hands and feet come separate so you can wear your Slink hands and feet. Please wear the XS size for a seamlessly fit.
• Works with omega appliers if you own the Omega system kit for Maitreya.
• There are 3 shapes for Maitreya feet: High, mid and flat.
• There are 5 sizes for the neck depending on the body fat you have on your own shape for a seamlessly fit.
• There are 3 nails length.
• There are 19 colors for hand and feet nails.
• Comes with two sets of lingerie from Maitreya and Zaara.
• Hud is really easy to use.

So what I think of it and the other mesh bodies available? I own WowMeh, Slink Physique, TMP, Belleza Venus and of course Lara and out of all these I prefer Lara in the first place and Belleza Venus. Why? I never liked the alphas from WowMeh I couldn’t manage to fit well my mesh clothing, besides is not available anymore; Slink Physique is very nice but I think it needs improvement on the alphas; TMP I have to tell you guys that this is a body I don’t like at all, sorry to be so honest but I don’t like its figure, I haven’t been able either to fit my mesh clothing well, buying and customising is a bit confusing with the way the huds are designed and it’s not compatible at all with Slink hands and feet except for the deluxe version that costs 5000L; Venus is a body I like a lot, I love that I can change the gestures of the hands only using the hud, I managed to wear mesh clothes with it even though I honestly think that the alphas need a little improvement for example that the chest and back alphas could be used separately, there are various brands that already do shoes for its feet and overall I like the shape a lot.

About Lara, as I said at the beginning of this blog post, it was love at first wear. I love its shape, the alphas suited me really well with my mesh clothing, for example, I can wear a backless shirt as the chest and back alphas can be hidden separately, I like that I can still wear my Slink shoes and my hands with it, the hands are really nice even though there’s only one gesture for them, as well as the feet they are pretty nice, oh and the hud is really easy to use. I’ve seen plurks and Facebook posts about a little bump on the shoulders, bump that I haven’t noticed that much and it does not matter to me at all, actually I think this is the continuation of the collar bones so that part can be more realistic. Overall this is my favourite mesh body and I highly recommend buying it, of course, try the demo before and see if it suits you.

By the way, there are more colors for the lingerie set from Zaara available for sale at Maitreya’s Maistore and also there are 3 pair of shoes as a group gift from Maitreya (Free to join), this will look awesome with your Lara’s high feet.

The model and the blogger

Hello beauties! I share the “camera” today with a great spanish girl I just met a couple months ago, She is Locuala Madruga and she is one of the most prestigious models in SL, she is an instructor besides other academies for the Miss Virtual World organisation, she was Miss Virtual India and participated as model and jury in various modeling events and contests.

Why the tittle of my blog post? Of course, Locuala is a model and I’m a blogger but even we are in the fashion industry in SL our roles are different at least for me. There are different types of bloggers and of course different types of models, but for me on a blogger the picture is very important and for the model the runway is one of the most important things, you can get to see a blog post whenever you want, as for fashion shows they are always on a certain date and sometimes for only one time. There is also a huge difference on the styling, we bloggers do more of an everyday look and models tend to Mix&Match a lot, specially for Style contests or special occasions, except when they have to do a fashion show for a designer where they show the outfit just the way it is and without much accessories.

Some models tend to say that we bloggers present a basic styling and tend to edit the outfit while editing the pic, but for me what is important is to show a certain product in a way people gets interested on it and goes buy it, of course we use photoshop or other types of photo editing programs, but on my pictures I tend to show the outfit just the way it is, of course sometimes it’s different the way it will fit me than to others. Why do we edit pictures? Just because on a blogger the picture is the most important thing at least for me or then why designers when they look for bloggers one on the things they see on a blog is the quality of the picture?

Anyway even though there are a lot of differences between a Model and a Blogger, both are in the same industry, just showing things in a different way. By the way, this is only my opinion on the differences between a model and a blogger, I can be wrong as I say things the way I see them as I ever been a model or participated in a models class. So please don’t take me wrong, I’ve always admire a models work.

So, for this post I wear this beautiful dress from Dead Dollz that is available at the Winter Trend Fair in red, pink, blue and white. It has a beautiful stole and the back of the dress is amazing.

Today I wanted to do a special post about Tromp Loeil and show you some of the things that are available at Fameshed, Collabor88 and its mainstore. I have to admit that I loved the new skybox that was released at Collabor, its a three room skybox, in each room there is a fireplace and you can choose to place it with or without surround, it also comes with optional fire logs and candles to place.

The glam, the sexy and the rocker

When it comes to dress up in RL I always go to the first thing I find in my wardrobe specially for work ’cause I’m too lazy to dress up in the morning, anyway I end up looking good just because my boss thinks that all is in how you look.

Anyways there are three sides of me when it comes to dressing… The glamorous girl who loves to dress up for fancy parties and here is where I spend the whole afternoon doing my hair, my nails and makeup; I must tell that I love this type of parties ’cause I end up dancing the whole night in my beautiful gown.  The sexy girl who loves to dress up for the beach or the pool specially this time of the year when I can get a really nice tan and finally the rocker girl, I love rock music since I remember and I love to wear rock outfits, my wardrobe is full of leather jackets and black clothes.

Hello dear beauties today I want to show you some new releases. Hope you like them!

Truth just released two new hairstyles the one I’m wearing today is called Nissa and it’s a really nice messy hair with a braid, as always, you can get it in the regular packs available and now in the new pastels colours that I showed you in one of my past posts.

Whatever released the shoes I’m wearing at District 5, this event opened on the 13th and it will last until the ….. you can find brands like Lark, Cynful, Whatever and more. Talking about this beautiful shoes you can get them in 13 different colours and the come in two versions one is with cork platform and heels and the other ones are just plain color shoes, they come also with optional ankle straps. My dress is from Cynful and you can also get it at District 5, there are various colours available and the color of the belt is changeable with the hud provided.

My clutch and collar are from 1992 and they are available at La’Metallique Fair, the clutch comes in 9 different colours and the collar comes in onyx, silver, gold and bronze.
