The adventures of Nanny and Rocky: “What happened in the kitchen” – Season 1 – Pilot

Hello beauties! Today I did a collab post with the sweet Rockabillysun Dethly a.k.a Rocky, besides she is an amazing and super sweet girl, she has literally an adorkable blog and does really pretty pictures. You can check her blog here and her flickr stream here.

We have a lot in common with Rocky besides the fact we both are Pisces, we can be a little goofy girls so what a better way to show you guys our goofiness than messing up our kitchen, we were supposed to do cakes and get them ready for the visitors of the new round of the Arcade but Rocky tripped and it ended up been a mess. So sorry arcade visitors no cakes for you from us this time. Anyway we planned to do other stuffs together hopefully they are not as messy as this one, so stay tuned for more adventures!

Mr. Unicorn’s Bakery

Hello beauties! It’s time to get a little kawaii and attend to two amazing events such as CosplaySL and The Kawaii Project.

A collaboration between Glam Affair and Tableau Vivant has been released at CosplaySL, this super cute hair and skin called Miko Chii come in 11 different combinations of one skin and one color pack hair. The skin comes in Artic with 6 brow options, 1 no brow option and 5 system suggested brow shapes. With each color hud for the hair you’ll find 30 different color options to wear. Cosplay will be open until November 30th. so hurry up and get this amazing hair and skin. Here you can check the skins for each pack with its hair color pack.

My dress is from Katat0nic and it’s available as a gacha prize at Kawaii Project, there are two versions available for you to play, one for the regular avatar and the other one which is compatible with Slink Physique which actually is the one I chose to wear. I can tell you that this dress fits really well on the Slink Physique mesh body so it’s really worth playing for you to get your favourite color. Besides, this is a super cute dress so it really will compliment any kawaii outfit.

My shoes are from Reign and they are available at Kustom9, you can get them in 5 different colors with the option to change the color of the laces into black and white, in each pack you’ll get this shoes for Slink mid feet, Belleza Venus Body and the Mesh Project body.

My Journey – TopFashionista 1st. Anniversary

Hello beauties! This is a very special post to me as it’s the first year of my blogging journey and let me tell you this has been a hell of a journey, it’s far the most fun thing I’ve ever found to do in SL. And today I’m not only going to tell you how it all started but also it’s a thank you post to all the people that helped me during this year. Btw, sorry but this is gonna be a huge post.

So it all started me visiting various blogs including Interstyle Fashion, Suicide Cabinet, Strawberry Singh’s blog, All The Rage, Luna’s Jubilee’s Blog, Juicybomb and some other blogs that I’ve always admired not only for the quality of the images but also cause they are fun to check. So I decided open myself a blog with the purpose of showing people my LOTDs, I didn’t care at all about pictures or even promoting it, I just did it when I wanted to do it or when I though I came up with a nice outfit. That was back in 2012. At the end of September 2013 I saw this call from Fabulously Free in SL for new bloggers, so I though why not apply. Some weeks after I was chosen to be part of this great family of bloggers, so in October, the serious part of blogging started. I started  learning how to promote a blog, trying to do better pictures, finding freebies or cheap clothes and accessories so I could do my blog posts there. I loved the experience, I love the group and I miss it a lot.

But, it was time to leave Fabfree as I didn’t have much time to blog that much anymore and started to post only on this blog, the first sponsors started to come as I started to apply to different stores (I still get nervous when I apply as blogger XD), I starting learning how to edit pictures in Photoshop (I still learn everyday something new) and I decided to promote it more. Talking about sponsors, one of my happiest times during blogging was seeing a call from Glam Affair to become a blogger for the store, I’ve always used Aida’s skins and I have to say that I wasn’t that confident on getting that group ’cause all the girls that blog for it have amazing pictures and amazing blogs, but after I saw on my email an invitation to the Glam Affair Bloggers Group from Sophia Harlow you should of see me jumping around my room screaming “I got it, I got it” (I still keep that email). Other one was Truth, I’ve applied for it like three times and I always say “third time lucky” so again I was jumping and screaming around my room when I got Truth Hawk’s invitation to the group and a welcome note. Of course, I keep those emails too. I get pretty happy every time I get chosen to blog for a store or an event or with those Ims asking me to blog certain things, brands or events as it demonstrates to me that people likes my work. :)

This journey haven’t been easy but as I said is the funnest thing I’ve ever done in SL. I’ve discovered my creative side, I’ve met so many nice people, I’ve learned a lot about fashion and photography, I mean, I LOVE TO BE A BLOGGER! Now it’s time to the thank you part.

Teenage dance

The 90’s! The so beloved 90’s! *sighs… Even though I was born in the 80’s which is a decade I loved too, the best parts of my life happened on the 90’s the music, the friends from school and high school, the clothes, the hair styles, the games, I mean everything was so fun.

I remembered when I was a kid wearing disco skirts with short leggings and classic reebok shoes, playing rope-jumping, hopscotch or there was this game with an elastic band that you had to jump on the band in different ways or the game of the countries and so many games that I miss playing. Of course my teen years happened on the 90’s and it was fun being rebel, listened to rock and wear checkered big blouses with jeans.

I loved this decade and I wish I could go back and that’s the great thing about SL, you can go back time whenever you like and today I want to show you some of the stuff available at the current Collabor88 round which I must say is one of my favourites, lots of bright colours and of course some 90 stuff.
